Consumer media relations campaign to capture ‘hearts and minds’
Brief
To drive awareness of CAMFED’s community-led girls’ education and women’s empowerment model, and the importance of female-led innovations in climate-smart agriculture to nourish school communities.
Solution
We brought a rural Zimbabwean classroom and school garden to the Chelsea Flower Show to launch CAMFED’s #SeeGrowth campaign.
Result
CAMFED was featured in over 63 consumer and trade outlets via print, online, radio and TV. Total audience reached during the campaign was estimated at around 100 million. We continue to work with CAMFED and are now in our third year supporting them with their PR and media relations work.
