We are delighted to sponsor the Health Innovation Competition, organised by Health Enterprise East (HEE), a leading NHS Innovation Hub. The competition celebrates the best ideas from colleagues of all grades and levels across the NHS, culminating in an awards dinner being held on 24 September 2014 at Girton College Cambridge, and hosted by BBC Look East Presenter Alex Dunlop.
Now in its 9th year, the annual Innovation Competition brings together key figures from the NHS, research networks, biotech and medtech companies. There are five categories for entry and include: medical technology; software/ICT/assistive technology; patient safety; patient dignity and experience; and long-term conditions management. The winner of each category will receive a first prize of £2,000.
We work extensively across the healthcare, biotech and medtech sectors with clients such as; Bayer, TTP, Health Enterprise East, the Eastern Academic Health Science Network (EAHSN), SBRI Healthcare, IXICO, Horizon Discovery, Agalimmune, Northern Health Science Alliance, One Nucleus, and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Our CEO, Simon Fryer said: “We love working with disruptive companies and when our client HEE asked whether we would support them with this fantastic Health Innovation Competition we were excited to be involved. The East of England has a reputation for innovation and this event provides a fantastic platform for people working in healthcare at the grass roots in our region to step up to the challenge of solving the many health-related challenges we face.”
