KISS Public Relations to PR Ely City Golf Club Jubilee Golf Day
KISS Public Relations will be providing its expertise and services to Ely City Golf Club to help raise awareness for the Captains’ Jubilee Charity Golf Day on 28th September. The event will be supporting EACH (East Anglia’s Children Hospices) and the Arthur Rank Hospice whose services involve supporting both children, adults and their affected families. KISS Public Relations has agreed to support these worthy causes and the club by providing their services on a pro bono basis. Ely City Golf Club and KISS are looking to emphasise how sponsors can benefit from getting involved in the Charity Golf Day. It’s a great opportunity for individuals, especially businesses to get together and network. Justine Smith, PR Director at KISS said: “The agency supports a number of charities and we were pleased to offer our services to this prestigious charity golf day. It will be a fun day with around 160 golfers expected to take part, so a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy a round of golf and support EACH and Arthur Rank Hospice.” Ely City Golf Club is beautifully located on the outskirts of the city which boasts splendid views of the cathedral. The Captains’ Jubilee Charity Golf Day has been organised here to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the golf club. The occasion offers the opportunity to sponsor the event, support two worthy regional charities and gain exposure for businesses on the day of the tournament as well as take part in the golfing event. East Anglia’s Childrens’ Hospice is a charity which supports children and their families who face life-threatening conditions, providing support in the family home, the community and the hospice. The Arthur Rank Hospice provides palliative care and support to adult patients and their family, friends and carers. The Charity is challenged with raising £1.3million this year; over £3500 a day to fund vital life enhancing services, so donations are greatly welcomed during these tough times. Paul Ruskin, Chairman of the committee said: “The expertise and support from KISS Public Relations is just what we need for an event like this. It’s about getting people and businesses together to enjoy a game of golf whilst supporting worthwhile causes. Any help that we are given externally will only benefit the charities further and ultimately provide a fantastic day for everyone involved.” The Golf Club are currently seeking businesses which would be interested in supporting the Charity event. To find out further information please get in touch with Paul Ruskin who will be happy to help you.
