KISS Communications present at Tastes of Anglia AGM
Sarah Reakes, Strategy Planner at KISS Communications gave a presentation to members of Tastes of Anglia on 10 November 2011 at the group’s AGM held at the NFU in Newmarket. Tastes of Anglia is the region’s food and drink marketing group which supports member producers, outlets and service providers. Entitled ‘Define, Focus, and Position – Driving business growth with your most valuable asset’, Sarah’s presentation gave an insight into how to establish a clear and meaningful platform from which to successfully grow a brand. It explained how this is particularly important in the current economic climate when brands need to fight harder for their share of consumer spend and therefore need to be clearly differentiated and relevant to their target audience. “The presentation Sarah gave at our AGM was fantastic,” said Marilyn Snell, Membership Officer at Tastes of Anglia. “Our members were genuinely inspired by KISS Communications approach and the way the company explained how members could gain commercial advantage, increased customer loyalty and higher margins in these difficult economic times.” Earlier in the year, the award-winning marketing agency launched KISS Future, a standalone service which helps aspiring brands to drive business growth through a simple, affordable and structured service. “The last few years have been very tough for businesses, with pressure on marketing budgets and mounting demands to demonstrate a return on investment”, explains Sarah. “Our strategy of keeping it simple and straightforward has resonated well with businesses and was well received at the Tastes of Anglia AGM.” Sarah Reakes has over 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising both as client in a number of blue chip multi nationals such as Colgate-Palmolive and Nestlé, and more recently with advertising agencies such as Publicis and JWT. Sarah began her career with United Biscuits in the UK but since then has worked in New Zealand, Australia, The Netherlands and Belgium.
