Balancing Blooms appoint KISS Public Relations
Balancing Blooms has appointed KISS Public Relations to handle its PR and social media. A best seller in Boots, Balancing Blooms is a range of nine combination flower essences prepared according to the original written instructions of Edward Bach who discovered the benefits of English flower essences in the 1930s. Bach believed his essences captured the positive mood of each flower. The range of convenient, pre-prepared, ready to use natural essence combinations include: Peace, Calmdown!, Get Up and Go!, Crisis!, Focus!, Confidence!, Let Go!, Cheer Up! and Sensuality. One of the key objectives of the media campaign is to raise awareness of Balancing Blooms and help to drive sale through retailers such as Boots and via the company’s web site at www.balancingblooms.co.uk. The media campaign will incorporate traditional consumer magazines, online publications and the use of social media. Commenting on the account win, Justine Smith, PR Director at KISS Public Relations, said, “Being appointed as the sole PR agency for a national brand is very exciting. Balancing Blooms has established itself as a real contender against some long established brands, competing not only on price but also differentiating itself from competitors on the number of flower essences in each of its pre-prepared products.” Justine continued, “Balancing Blooms is also extending retail distribution to independent chemists and health food stores in the UK and Ireland so a creative and hard-working PR campaign will help the company to increase its sales and support this growing retail network. “ Simon Turner, Managing Director at Balancing Blooms said, “KISS Public Relations has a reputation for delivering a return on investment with PR. In the current economic climate it’s vital that an agency understands the importance of results, evaluation and ensuring a client gets value for money. This was one of the key decision makers in awarding the contract to KISS.”
